Meine Lieben! Wieder ist eine Woche herum & wir haben immer noch keine Nachricht von Euch meine Lieben bekommen & sind es jetzt 10 Wochen. Bekommen haben schon Post vom 24. Febr. Heute mittag hat Herr Frohmann seinen Abschiedskaffee bei uns eingenommen & wird Dienstag s.G.w. die Reise antreten & bis Anfang Mai bei seinen Kindern sein. G.[?]F. hat uns versprochen Dir l. L. gleich zu schreiben solltest Du bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nichts gehört haben so frage bitte bei Dr. Goldmanns nach. Adr. ist Dr. J. Goldmann 319 West. 100 Str. II. Apt., New York. Von Onkel Karl hatten wir zu Samstag auch Nachricht & geht es allen G.s.D. gut. Post von Euch scheinen Sie auch noch nicht zu haben, Sie haben nämlich nichts davon erwähnt & dies hätten sie doch bestimmt gethan. L. Jenny ich glaube es geht so manches [Notiz am Rande: hat empfangen Nachricht von Jenny.]

My dears! Another week has passed and we still have not received any news from you, my dear ones. Now it is 10 weeks. We have already received mail from February 24. Today at noon Mr. Frohmann had his farewell coffee with us and will start his journey on Tuesday, God willing, and be with his children until the beginning of May. G.[?]F. has promised us to write to you, dear Lieselotte, right away. If you have not heard anything by this time, please ask Dr. Goldmanns. The address is: Dr. J. Goldmann, 319 West. 100 St. II. Apt, New York. We also had news from Uncle Karl on Saturday and thank God all is well. They don’t seem to have any mail from you yet either, because they didn’t mention anything about it and they certainly would have done so.
